Out of all other essential documents an expat requires in the UAE, the Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) is prominent. Also known as Good Character Certificate or Good Conduct Certificate or Good Citizen Certificate, a PCC is required for numerous purposes including employment. As the name suggests, a PCC is an official document issued by the police department of a particular area stating whether or not the candidate has a criminal background.
