Since attestation is a critical document legalization procedure, it requires authentication from several government departments. The process for Indian educational document attestation for the UAE is as follows:

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) is the sole government department in India authorized to attest all Indian documents. Without home authentication, the MEA does not attest a document, since MEA only authenticates the attestation done by the State Department. The MEA only attest original documents, so the people are recommended to present only original copies of their documents at the MEA.

UAE Embassy Attestation

Afterward the HRD and MEA attestation, the documents are presented before the UAE Embassy in New Delhi for the UAE Embassy attestation. UAE Embassy attestation is not possible without MEA attestation and HRD attestation. UAE Embassy attestation is required for validating the documents as well as processing the visa request.
